The cats are fed twice a day - they will probably beg you for more, so be careful to make sure they eat it all. The chickens are fed once a day and the door to the cage is to be opened in the morning and accordingly closed before you going to bed - they use the garden as well as we do! Numbered only five, they don’t litter or disturb.
Of course, we would like you to water the flowers once or twice during your stay - we can make arrangements about it when confirming.

Haus

Former farmhouse in a village. The house is old with a certain charm; the garden is spacious and relaxing. There is plenty of room for a family or a couple in search of recreation and authentic Danish living. A small car can be part of the sitting with full payment of expenses.

We posses some music instruments - feel free to use. Bikes for adults can be provided as well as the aforementioned car.

The village is quiet, but with some traffic passing through. The minimarket is nearby and can provide most of everyday needs. With bus/car/bike or even walking a slightly bigger city is accesible. It is cozy and very quiet too, nevertheless it presents different shops and supermarkets and a friendly café. The nearby forest offers great walks for an hour or two. The highway or train from the platform in the city will take you around easily, as well as the bus drives from one bathing oppportunity to another - both within an hour from the dwelling.

Tourismus und Freizeit

Denmark is a relatively small and compact country. Within an hour a lot is available - beaches, museums, zoos, recreational spots and equipment for hire - especially for water activities on a beginners scale. An imposing castle - Egeskov - with it’s recreational park is a must see and not far away - twenty minutes by bus. Bathing from the coast is another typical recreation for us, The islands are worth visiting as well - the are as many as 10 or so. Dayhiking on marked paths is a great opportunity.

What a sit ! Charming and very welcoming owners, a splendid house and garden, and very endearing animals, even the hens ! Without Morten and Line, we wouldn't have been able to experience life on an old village farm in Denmark. Everything was great; meeting the owners and taking care of the animals, the garden and the house (flowers everywhere :) was a real pleasure. Many many thanks.
